The food on site is very good. Pick up pizza also great. Pasta dishes for pick-up are equivalent to a 49 cents portion from Gut & Cheap. Not recommendable.

The food and service are high quality. Price-performance ratio is right. The premises and the front garden are cozy. Waiting times for orders are acceptable in good company. One of the best Italians around.

Super nice service. But I've never eaten such a bad lasagna. And yes the night in the hotel next door was very uncomfortable because only spent on the toilet. Pizzas looked better. Probably just made the wrong choice

Very good pizza, homemade tagliatelle and also very good fish dishes! The products are of good quality and we have never had a bad meal there. The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill every request. We always recommend Sale e Pepe with a clear conscience.

And a second bravo for the quality of the ingredients, we are really excited: To get fish and seafood here in the "countryside" in such a selection is really fantastic. We had a really good time with a “Mare e Monti” menu, it was a pleasure and cries out for repetition. The wines went very well and after the dessert, a limoncello - senza parole! I really get around a lot (mainly Frankfurt and Munich) and can't avoid noticing: best value for money what you can get in the Esslingen district. But that's just my opinion, and I warmly invite you to visit this Ristorante and feel free to contact me if my description was too exuberant.
